Circa 10% der globalen Anbaufl\u00e4che wird industriell bewirtschaftet und produziert etwa 20% aller Grundnahrungsmittel. Durch ihre intensive Anbaupraxis (Abholzung, Massentierhaltung, Monokulturen mit D\u00fcnger, Herbiziden und Pestiziden) verursacht sie weltweit bis zu einem Drittel aller Treibhausgase. (greenpeace.de\u21b5<\/a>).\u00a0 Ihr \u00f6kologischer Fussabdruck ist also weit gr\u00f6sser als der einer nat\u00fcrlichen, diversen Landwirtschaft.<\/p>\n

In der Schweiz produzierten 2020 15% der landwirtschaftlichen Betriebe nach den Richtlinien der Bio-Suisse, ein knappes Prozent sogar nach Demeter Richtlinien. Synthetische Hilfsmittel sind im Biolandbau verboten.<\/p>\n

In der Schweiz m\u00fcssen s\u00e4mtliche Betriebe, damit sie Direktzahlungsberechtigt sind, den vom Bund vorgegebenen \u00f6kologischen Mindeststandard (blw.admin.ch\u21b5<\/a>) erf\u00fcllen.\u00a0 Jeder Betrieb muss j\u00e4hrlich eine D\u00fcngerbilanz erstellen, die Anzahl zugelassener Nutztiere ist fl\u00e4chenabh\u00e4ngig und Tierfabriken, wie man sie aus China, USA, dem mittleren Osten usw. kennt sind bei uns nicht zugelassen.
